Hello Diabetes,

If I could say anything to diabetes, I’d say you changed my life without asking for permission.

At first, I was scared and confused. But somewhere along the way, I realized you would not get to define me.

You’ve taught me that I’m stronger, more resilient, and more capable than I ever realized.

I’m still showing up. Still being a mom. Still acting. Still coaching. Still chasing my dreams.

Because diabetes is a part of my story, but it is not my whole story.

Now I want to hear yours. If you could say anything to diabetes, what would you say?

If you could say anything to diabetes, what would you say?

A Letter to Diabetes creates a space for people around the world to put into words how they feel about their diabetes journey.

This is about everything you’ve wanted to say, but haven’t found the words.

A letter to diabetes

Throughout November, we’re inviting you to share your letter to diabetes. Whether you live with diabetes, are a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply love someone with diabetes, we want to hear your story.

Share it any way that feels authentic to you, through photos, audio, video, or a handwritten letter.

Stories will be reviewed before posting, and while we value every submission, not all stories will be published.
