Diabetes,

Wow, it’s been a journey! I didn’t know what to expect when we first met. I was anxious, confused, and I had endless questions! Little did I know, that my diagnosis would introduce me to a whole new world where my Dexcom G7, friendship and community became very important.

Because of you, I’ve met some awesome people through social media who encourage me to keep getting stronger, to continue to fight and pushing through whatever barriers I’ve created for myself!

I’ve also been blessed to see my wife and family step-up and support me. Through many highs, lows (and middle of the night alerts), they’ve seen my journey and fight for my health and been by my side throughout it all!

While I don’t wish this journey on anyone, I’m glad for the community you’ve introduced me to and the ways you pushed me to become a better and healthier version of myself!

Back to the letters

A letter to diabetes.

If you could say anything to diabetes, what would you say?

A Letter to Diabetes creates a space for people around the world to put into words how they feel about their diabetes journey.

This is about everything you’ve wanted to say, but haven’t found the words.

A letter to diabetes

Throughout November, we’re inviting you to share your letter to diabetes. Whether you live with diabetes, are a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply love someone with diabetes, we want to hear your story.

Share it any way that feels authentic to you, through photos, audio, video, or a handwritten letter.

Stories will be reviewed before posting, and while we value every submission, not all stories will be published.
