A smiling boy and a young man with a beard stand side by side outside a building, both in matching black Spider-Man T-shirts and black shorts, the man resting a hand on the boy's shoulder.

Diabetes,

You have made my life a little complicated to say the least…. But you have pushed me to become a very strong kid. Because of you diabetes I can do things I never dreamed of doing, you have given me a reason to fight. Diabetes you have created a community of people that are all working together to make the best out of a situation none of us chose! You have given me life long friendships that are simply irreplaceable. Last but not least…. Diabetes you can try as hard as want but you will win against a Dexcom Warrior !

Here is picture of me and my mentor Alex! We fight diabetes together!

Sincerely,

Leo

Back to the letters

A letter to diabetes.

If you could say anything to diabetes, what would you say?

A Letter to Diabetes creates a space for people around the world to put into words how they feel about their diabetes journey.

This is about everything you’ve wanted to say, but haven’t found the words.

A letter to diabetes

Throughout November, we’re inviting you to share your letter to diabetes. Whether you live with diabetes, are a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply love someone with diabetes, we want to hear your story.

Share it any way that feels authentic to you, through photos, audio, video, or a handwritten letter.

Stories will be reviewed before posting, and while we value every submission, not all stories will be published.
