Diabetes,

I was only 10 when you became part of my life. I had no idea then how much you would teach me about strength, resilience, and myself.

There have been hard days, but also so many moments I'm proud of, from crossing finish lines to chasing goals I once wondered if I could.

But the most unexpected thing you've given me is community.

As a Dexcom Warrior, creator, founder of T1D Sweat Club, and mentor, I've found purpose in sharing my journey and helping others feel less alone.

Diabetes, you're part of my story, but you'll never be the whole story. And if my story helps someone else feel seen, that's something I'll always be proud of.

Back to the letters

A letter to diabetes.

If you could say anything to diabetes, what would you say?

A Letter to Diabetes creates a space for people around the world to put into words how they feel about their diabetes journey.

This is about everything you’ve wanted to say, but haven’t found the words.

A letter to diabetes

Throughout November, we’re inviting you to share your letter to diabetes. Whether you live with diabetes, are a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply love someone with diabetes, we want to hear your story.

Share it any way that feels authentic to you, through photos, audio, video, or a handwritten letter.

Stories will be reviewed before posting, and while we value every submission, not all stories will be published.
